Enthused by her experience Amanda trained as a Holistic Healing Practitioner, Spiritual Counsellor and Life Coach and she has a diploma on Eastern and Western Approaches to the Body. Her thesis for her MA from London University on the psychological and health benefits of humour has been published.
In 2008 Amanda trained with Pia Mellody of the Meadows, Arizona to identify and treat traumas which can often underly addictive and dysfunctional behaviour. She facilitates Phyllis Krystal’s Cutting the Ties that Bind process which helps clients to separate from the negative impact of relationships – with new communication skills these can be greatly improved.
Amanda is particularly interested in neuroscience and keeps up to date with the latest research being done as scientific evidence for the tools she teaches. “His Holiness the Dalai Lama was instrumental in scientists researching what happens in the brain when we meditate. Since then the field has expanded to show all areas of behaviour and in this ten-minute video, I explain how we can literally take charge of our health and our happiness.”
As well as seeing individuals Amanda gives presentations on wellbeing and stress management to business leaders, senior professionals and the Royal Household.
